We are excited to welcome you to Le Nid de Plumes for your celebration among friends, family, and colleagues. Below, you’ll find general information to help you prepare for your visit. Whether it’s about attire, venue rules, or wedding guest etiquette, these details will ensure a smooth experience and help the host avoid unnecessary charges.

Our address is 10 rue de la Galmandrie, 86190 Vouillé. We are 20 minutes drive from Poitiers, 2 hours from Nantes and under 3 hours from Bordeaux.

Guest parking is located at the carpark of the Park de la Gorande, beside Le Nid de Plumes. Alternatively, there is extra parking to be found in Vouillé town, a few minutes walk from us. DO NOT pass through the gates – this is for shuttle traffic only, as there is no parking available around the venue area (unless residents of La Galmandrie).

Please don’t arrive ahead of the scheduled event time. We are often putting final touches on setup and are not ready to receive guests.

Le Nid de Plumes is a peaceful woodland retreat along the Auxances River, surrounded by lush nature. While La Plumasserie features a solid floor, many outdoor surfaces are gravel. For comfort, we recommend wearing suitable shoes.

To respect the alcohol provided by your host, our venue and bartender’s license strictly prohibit bringing outside alcohol.

Fireworks and sparklers are not allowed. Since we are fortunate to be surrounded by magnificent trees, we must protect them. Similarly, to preserve the venue’s natural charm, we only allow biodegradable confetti.

For safety reasons, children under 12 must remain within 3 feet of a parent or guardian at all times. Due to the venue’s proximity to the Auxances River, we strictly enforce this rule.

As dog lovers, we welcome well-behaved dogs with prior approval. However, we require that dogs remain on a leadthroughout the event to avoid any issues with other dogs or our resident squirrels! Your furry companion will have access to fresh water, treats, and space to roam in the forest.

Finally, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for rude behavior. Shouting, insulting staff, or acting disrespectfullywill result in immediate removal from the premises.
