Surrounded by nature and tranquil running water from the Auxances river, Le Nid de Plumes is a perfect place to celebrate the most magical day of your life with friends and family.

Ceremonies and blessings can be held in our Enchanted Forest, nestled behind its own gated entrance close to The Plumasserie. Drinks receptions, cocktail parties and aperitifs can also be held here or on the adjoining lush, grassy area – The Prairie.

Welcome your guests into our main event space, ‘The Plumasserie’ for a beautiful sit-down meal; a sophisticated room, fully heated in the colder months and air-conditioned in summer. We cater for up to 140 people for a meal or 220 people for a cocktail party here. La Galmandrie house is adjacent and provides a beautiful, traditional backdrop for any French soirée.

After your meal, we invite you to finish up in ‘The Fridge’. Once the fridge of the feather factory, where plucked feathers were separated and kept fresh, ready to be sold, it has its own dance floor, mirror disco ball and pink air vents. This is a super spot for your guests to socialise and dance the night away.

We are happy to suggest some wonderful and unique ideas for the following day. If you wish to treat your guests to a second round of festivities, we can create a fresh ambience with perhaps a picnic, a vintage Afternoon Tea or a brunch or buffet. This is a nice way to consume leftover food from your wedding day and a great way to reduce waste.

We offer a hand holding experience at Le Nid de Plumes with a dedicated and experienced events team that can deal with all of your questions and requests. Seeing each event right through from beginning to end, we will be with you on the day or night, to allow you enjoy your event while knowing that it is in the safe hands of experts.

Working closely with a well selected and vetted group of suppliers who know the venue well, we share our knowledge with our clients so that their event exceeds their wishes and requirements.

We work with the best local caterers to guarantee an impressive service on the day. They offer a range of superb bespoke menus, a professional service which will deliver an exceptional experience before, during and after the event. While a lot of couples choose a traditional sit-down meal, there are other options available to feed your guests, such as a buffet, vintage Afternoon Tea, BBQ, brasero cooking, a spit roast pig or picnic. For something a little different, we can also organise a food truck to come – we have ample outdoor electricity especially for this option. Please enquire to find out more.

We use a selection of wine and drinks suppliers. Most of our caterers can provide other beverages. We also assist in sourcing waiting staff and bar staff – please contact us for more information.

We do not charge a cleaning fee. However, we have a waste charge depending on the size of the event – which also includes the disposal of glass bottles. We assure all clients that we take every measure to comply with recycling guidelines for a greener planet.
